A domain name uniquely locates an organization or other entity on the Internet. For example, the domain name ‘www.dajworld.com.np' locates an Internet address for ‘dajworld.com.np.' The ‘np' part of the domain name reflects the country of the organization. The ‘com' part of the domain name reflects the purpose of the organization (‘com' for commerical; or ‘org' may be used to represent ‘organization'). The ‘dajworld' part of the domain name reflects the organization or the entity. The ‘www' part represents the name of the server that handles Internet requests.
Domain name has to be registered so that no one else in the entire world uses the same name as yours. Of course, you have to pay the registration and renewal fees to the USA-based InterNIC (registrar for ‘.com, .net, and .org' domain names). This fee is non negotiable, and we forward this fee to the InterNIC on your behalf.
